Refunds and cancellations
This page is the money rule for every paid line on the Library page. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Write to [email protected] with the subject Refund, the product, the payment date and the invoice number. A reply goes out within two business days. Approved returns go back to the original payment method within ten business days.
One-off digital products
The Four-Pass Workbook (CA$48) and the Decision Systems Pack (CA$95) can be returned in full within 14 days of the payment date on a written request. After the refund is issued, access to those files is revoked. Copies you already downloaded should be deleted; the licence ends with the refund.
A request after day 14 is refused unless the file delivered is not the file on the invoice. In that case the missing file is sent first; if it cannot be sent, the fee is returned in full even after day 14.
Library — monthly (CA$16)
Cancel at any moment before the next charge. The month already paid is not returned in part. Access continues until the end of the paid period. There is no pause state and no credit bank. A cancellation instruction should come from the mailbox on the invoice so the right seat is closed.
Library — annual (CA$152)
A full refund is available for 30 days from the payment date. After 30 days, a refund is calculated on the remaining full months, minus CA$12 for each monthly teardown package already downloaded. A year with every teardown downloaded and one month left does not produce a meaningful return; that is expected and is written here so it is not a surprise.
Systems Review (CA$480)
If work has not started, the fee is returned in full. After you send back the kickoff questionnaire, half of the fee is refundable. After the written review is sent, there is no refund. One revision pass is already included in the price and is not a separate product. Silence after kickoff questions are sent does not count as “work not started” once those questions have been answered.
Team licence (CA$690)
A refund is available for 30 days from the payment date if no more than two seats have been activated. If a third seat has been activated, the licence is treated as in use and the annual fee is not returned. Seat counts are taken from the mailboxes that received access, not from a promise about who would log in later.
What is not returned
Access opened to the wrong mailbox because the form named someone else’s address is not refunded. The access is moved to the correct mailbox. That is a transfer. Payments older than 12 months are not refunded. Chargebacks opened without first writing to [email protected] are treated as a dispute, not as this process.
These rules do not limit rights you have as a consumer under applicable Canadian law, including the law of British Columbia. If a statute requires a wider remedy, that statute wins. This page still states how the practice handles a request when the statute is silent.
