Ulitsojeus Get the Library

Cookie policy

Last updated: 2026

This page states what Ulitsojeus stores in your browser, why, how long, and how to clear it. The short version is also on the banner at the bottom of every page: this site keeps one record of your choice and uses no advertising trackers.

The one record

When you click Accept or Decline on the cookie banner, a script writes a key named uls_cookie to localStorage in your browser. The value is either accept or decline. That is the whole record. It exists so the banner does not return on every page load after you have already answered.

The same two values are used in the HTML and in the script: accept and decline. There is no third state and no “necessary only” product, because there is no advertising stack to trim. The banner is visible by default. It is hidden only after that key is present, or after you hide it in the current page by clicking a button.

localStorage is used instead of a network cookie for this choice. If a host or a future form ever sets a true HTTP cookie for the same purpose, it will still be named in the same family and described on this page. As of 2026, the choice key is the only intentional store.

What is not used

This site does not set advertising cookies. It does not load analytics pixels, tag managers, social share beacons or fingerprinting scripts. There is no A/B testing harness that identifies a reader. Forms post to send.php on this host; they do not post to a marketing platform.

The map on the contact page is an embed from maps.google.com. That embed is a third-party frame. It may set its own cookies according to that service’s policy. The embed is there to show the Vancouver street address. If you do not want that frame to load, do not open the contact page, or use a browser that blocks third-party frames.

Google Fonts are loaded from Google’s stylesheet for Schibsted Grotesk and Instrument Serif. That request may allow Google to see that a browser asked for those files. The fonts are not an analytics product of this site, and this site does not read a report from that request.

How long it lasts and how to withdraw

The uls_cookie key lasts until you clear site data for ulitsojeus.pro, or until you delete that key in the browser’s storage inspector. There is no expiry baked into the script. Clearing the key makes the banner visible again on the next visit. That is the withdrawal.

Accept and Decline both write the key. Decline does not enable a tracker; it only records that the banner was answered. There is no functional difference in site behaviour after either choice, because there is no tracker to turn on. The buttons exist so the choice is explicit and so the banner can stay out of the way.

If you block JavaScript, the banner stays visible and the rise-up animation never hides content. The forms still work. The notes still read. Nothing on this site requires the choice key in order to deliver a page.

Server logs and forms

Ordinary hosting logs may record an IP address and a requested path. Those logs are not the uls_cookie key and are not used to advertise. Form fields are described in the privacy notice: name, e-mail, optional phone, message, topic, consent, timestamp and honeypot. They are not cookies.

No registration numbers appear on this page or in the structured data attached to it. Questions about storage go to [email protected] with the subject line Cookies, or through the contact form.
